A lucky day but with a forbidden number of the year 1963, was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, someone who would become the most extraordinary chess player of all times, Garry Kimovich Weinstein, better known as Garry Kasparov. He learned to play at seven, and from that moment his life was marked by records whose best example is to have won the World Champion title at age 22. Son of Times and Changes, he is the World Champion who merged the two stages of contemporary chess (pre and post computers), adding his unique mark. It is also known as the Ogre of Baku, by his temperament, by his aggressive style, and the gestures he makes when he plays, which are nothing more than a sample of his killer instinct over the chess board.

It is to envy the life and talent of Kasparov, as we can say of him that there is nothing left for him to prove on the chess board. Therefore, since 2005 he retired from active chess, to engage himself in Russian politics, to write about chess, to promote our Art to all over the planet.

This complete collection of all his games (2508) also include those exhibitions where he took part in after retirement, until this year of 2011.

You may download his chess games in pgn and cbv formats, but I strongly recommend cbv because the games are categorized by openings, tactics, strategy, endgames, etc etc…

Bon appetite!
